JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors buildings and grounds to ensure a neat and clean appearance and environment
- Assists in the preventative maintenance program for the building and its fixtures on a daily, weekly, monthly and as needed basis
- Paints
- Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC
- Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
- Provides courteous guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Provides assistance to other departments of the hotel to contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills
