The Inn at Stonecliffe is searching for a skilled and passionate Spa Concierge & Massage Therapist to join our wellness team for the season. This multi-faceted role combines five-star service, expert and innovative massage therapy to provide a holistic wellness experience for our guests. You will be responsible for managing spa appointments and delivering sought after, review worthy massage treatments. This seasonal position will run from April through late October.
The Inn at Stonecliffe was built in 1904 and is located on beautiful Mackinac Island, Michigan. For centuries, Mackinac Island has been an ideal summer vacation spot with about 1 million visitors each year and about 15,000 a day during its main tourist season.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized service to all guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable and seamless experience based on their needs using the spa and wellness facilities.
- Manage pre-arrival and post treatment bookings, working with the front desk team to understand the unique persona of each guest.
- Maintain cleanliness of spa spaces.
- Sell spa services, retail and resort amenities with exhaustive knowledge of property wide offerings using written and verbal modalities.
- Assist in creating new and innovative spa experiences that align with the Inn's luxury standards, wellness culture and trends.
- Partner daily across departments to ensure seamless experiences.
- Assist with administrative duties, including guest feedback analysis, payment processing, and record-keeping.
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and specialty treatments as required.
- Customize treatments based on guest needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism, ensuring client confidentiality and comfort.
- Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards for treatment rooms and equipment.
- Educate guests on post-treatment care and wellness practices. Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and wellness trends.
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality, recreation, and customer service, preferably in a luxury resort setting.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
- Comfortable with selling and promoting Certified and licensed Massage Therapist (state/country requirements must be met).
- Minimum 1 year experience in a luxury spa, wellness, and hospitality.
- Exhaustive knowledge and passion for massage and recovery techniques and holistic wellness.
- Approachable, genuine interpersonal and communication skills with an anticipatory mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certified yoga instructor (RYT 200 or higher)
- Licensed esthetician
- Certified personal and/or group fitness instructor.
