What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker position at Schulte Staffing Solutions?
No Weekends/ All overtime is voluntary
Our client just 10-15 minutes away from Lawrence over in the North Shore is experiencing significant growth and are in need of experienced Warehouse Associate with some shipping/receiving background. This is for a few well-established company that could provide years of job stability. The companies has an excellent benefits package including Medical, Matching 401k, several company paid holidays and vacation time. All benefits kick in after probationary period.
Compensation: $20.00-$23.00 hourly
Working Hours: Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm with some flexibility to start a bit earlier
Job Responsibilities:
- Will be using a sit down forklift to unload and load trailers depending on client
- Will be asked to use the company computer system to track and update the flow of shipment in transit
- Picking and Packing orders
- Shrink wrap pallets and prepare all shipping documents
- Receive merchandise and perform stock replenishment
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of Shipping and Receiving or Warehouse experience
- Have experience using an RF Scanner and basis computer skills
- Freight Forwarding using UPS, DHL, and Fed-Ex labeling is a plus
- Must be comfortable lifting upwards to 75lbs
- Forklift experience is preferred but we're willing to train
- Will need to be comfortable with submitting to a Background check and Drug Screening if an offer is extended
- Reliable transportation is a must as the companies are not accessible by public transportation
- Must be able to read and write in English
