Position Overview :
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively marketing and selling the
restaurant and event venue's facilities and services. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies,
managing client relationships and ensuring the successful planning and execution of events using a proactive
approach as a detail-oriented professional using excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities :
o Sales and Marketing :
o Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
o Identify and target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other sales tactics.
o Maintain a comprehensive database of prospective and current clients.
o Create and distribute marketing materials and promotions to attract new business.
o Represent the venue at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
o Client Relationship Management :
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
o Conduct site visits and tours for prospective clients.
o Understand client needs and preferences to tailor event proposals and packages.
o Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
o Event Planning and Coordination :
o Work closely with clients to plan and execute events, including weddings, corporate events, private
parties, and more.
o Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, service staff, etc.) to ensure seamless event
execution.
o Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics.
o Provide on-site support during events to address any issues and ensure client satisfaction.
o Administration :
o Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the management team.
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details.
o Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
o Ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures.

- Proficient in Triple Seat and other software used to aid in planning and execution of events.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Schedule
o The Event Sales Manager will write their own schedule but will be expected to be on site 40-45 hours. This
should include a mixture of time spent in office as well as on tours, assisting in the execution of events on
and off site, and carrying out outreach initiatives.
