Description
The Sr. Manager, Trade Marketing is responsible for establishing wholesale pricing policies, coordination cross-channel promotions and event planning, maximizing return on sales and co-op allowances, collaboration with sales, marketing, product management, finance and account managers to ensure profit-maximizing promotional campaigns, and managing sales administration.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a sales team, including hiring, training, mentoring and evaluating staff.
- Develop and implement competitive and profitable wholesale pricing strategies.
- Monitor and adjust pricing policies based on market trends and competitor activities.
- Plan and execute end to end channel market efforts.
- Organize and manage promotional events to boost brand awareness and sales.
- Optimize the use of sales and cooperative advertising allowances to maximize return on investment.
- Track and analyze the performance of promotional activities to ensure they meet financial goals and overall business objectives.
- Adjust strategies based on performance data to improve future campaigns.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute profit-maximizing promotional campaigns.
- Implement efficient systems and procedures to streamline sales operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales data and performance metrics.
- Foster a culture consistent with Schumacher's purpose, core values and strategic anchors.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
