Description
As the General Manager, you will hire, train and motivate employees to accomplish or exceed business plan goals. You will manage both sales and construction personnel. Review all customer sales contracts and special price requests. Review and approve all variance purchase orders for payment. Participate in all pre-construction meetings. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Conduct weekly company level production and sales meetings and continuously recruit trade partners to join the team.
Requirements
- This position requires a strategic leader responsible for planning, organizing, managing and delivering divisional results for Schumacher Homes of Akron, Inc.
- We are seeking a highly motivated and competitive person.
- This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction (custom home scattered lot build is preferred but not required).
- Must have previous people management experience.
- Project management skills are highly encouraged.
- Sales experience is preferred but not required.
