What a Precision Assembly Technician Does
Handle robotic grippers
Manage rotary units
Operate linear actuators
Execute basic drilling and milling for component modification
Assemble and tailor product fixtures to specifications
Support daily production to meet customer demands
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot products and mechanical systems
Interpret blueprints for diagnostics and repairs
Maintain cleanliness via the SCHUNK 5S program
Adhere to all SCHUNK safety protocols
Contribute to quality improvements initiatives
Execute additional projects as tasked by management
Requirements & Expertise
Deep understanding of system engineering as it applies to SCHUNK products
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented mindset
Independent working capability
Familiarity with component manufacturing, sales, and SCHUNK product lines
Education & Experience
High school diploma required, with 1 years' experience in a manufacturing assembly role preferred
Ability to decode and interpret technical drawings and sketches
Detail-driven analysis skills
