SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the day to day facility based operations for Schupan’s Office of Sustainability between May – September (winter hours may apply) and responsible for assigned work within the plant between October - April.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Load and unload material on trailers
- Wash and organize recycling bins and equipment
- Maintain standard upkeep of equipment including washing out trailers; keeping equipment and work space clean; track and maintain equipment inventory
- Weigh, tag, sort, and properly store material
- Work closely with Schupan Plant Manager, supervisors and front office coworkers to ensure tasks are completed such as providing weight tickets to the front office
- Operate, maintain, and service equipment, including forklifts, as needed
- Provide prompt, reliable, and friendly customer service
- Must be able to communicate effectively, especially in order to understand and execute written and verbal work instructions and safety standards, and follow timelines and/or schedules
- Must be able to work independently and/or with a team in a collaborative environment
- Properly complete all paperwork
- Must be highly organized and detailed oriented
- Comply with all lockout/tagout procedures
- Use required PPE protective equipment as required which includes, but is not limited to, proper ear, eye, hand and face protection
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Must be able to interact in person with peers and the public
- Must be able to handle high stress situations
- Other duties may be assigned, and management retains the discretion to add, delete, or change the duties at any time
- Transport equipment to/from locations for delivery and pickup as part of the event team
- Work onsite for an event as part of the event team
- Must be able to train others while performing the Essential Functions of this job

Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a chauffeurs license, and comply with DOT regulations
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a forklift certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasionally lift, move, or position objects weighing up to 50 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Constantly works in noisy environments
