Description and Responsibilities :
My client is seeking a Maintenance Manager for their 1.0M Sq Ft distribution center. This building is in initial start-up phase. The building will mostly be an intra-DC, cross-dock-type set up. There will roughly be 130 employees in the DC altogether. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
- Leading a team of roughly 5-10 associates in the maintenance and housekeeping department.
- Being responsible for training, developing, mentoring, guiding associates.
- Planning and managing labor and production hours for the department.
- Using the CMMS to produce work orders and to implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Leading efforts to maintain the building and grounds for the distribution center.
- Promoting a safety-first culture.
- Working with outside electrical and mechanical contractors to perform work that cannot be done in house.
