What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at Schurter Trucking LLC?
We are looking for a detailed Inventory Specialist who will manage our inventory and order parts specific to jobs. Canidate must have knowledge in diesel truck engines and understand the layout and fuctions or diesel truck parts. Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing the ordering, storing, receiving, and distributing processes of an organization’s products and supplies. Their duties include:
- Controlling the flow of parts and supplies
- Tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance
- Conducting inventory counting
- Maintaining inventory records
- Ensuring sales records match actual store inventory
- Keeping stock organized and replenished as necessary
- Keep inventory software up to date
- Order specific parts for mechanics
- Stock shelves
- Ocasionally pick up parts from vendors
Canidate must have good communication skills and be a good team player. Must work directly with Parts Manager, Service Writer, Mechanics, and Shop Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.47 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
