CUSTOMER SERVICE RETURNS SPECIALIST
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Reconditioning Services (RS) Manager in the execution of RS initiatives
- Act as primary Customer Service Return Logistics Rep
- Maintain and execute SAP processes related to intercompany RS activities.
- Work in collaboration with reverse logistics team and plant personnel
- Support customer service groups with reverse logistics programs and related inventory levels
- Oversee special RS programs in place with customers
- Assist plant personnel as needed with any container return issues
- Support Accounts Payable with any RS invoice issues
- Facilitate removal of empty containers from the facilities of end users
- Ensure shippers comply with regulatory guidelines for IBC / drum returns (DOT, EPA, UN, etc.)
- Prompt determination of means for return
- Creation of return documents and bills of lading
- Obtaining MSDS documents when necessary from creation of return requests
- Reviewing open return requests and determining status
- Monitor and support all activity between third party cleaning facilities and customers
- Contact end-users to communicate fees and methods of disposal for returned containers that do not meet our return stipulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3 years of related business experience at a multi-site and fast-paced company (preferred)
- Freight logistics knowledge (required)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) (required)
- SAP experience (preferred)
- Chemical knowledge (preferred)
- Must have high initiative and be self-motivated
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Must have excellent problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team member and individual contributor
