RN Supervisor

$3/hour weekday differential, $5/hour weekend differential on top of base pay

Located in the heart of Clifton Park, Schuyler Ridge Residential Healthcare is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility offering 24-hour care providing medical services including long-term care, memory care and med surg sub acute.

What you will do:

• Responsible and accountable to utilizing the nursing process to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential problems of individuals or groups.

Responsibilities:

• On behalf of the Director of Nursing, provides for the continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families
• Perform assessments on elder's that may have had a fall, a change in condition
• Act as the senior liaison and administrative person on the campus and address staffing and family concerns
• Asked to participate in auditing or QA activities
• Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees

What you will need:

Required:

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York
• Associate’s degree in nursing or Degree of Nursing from an accredited school
• 1 year or more of recent experience as a RN ideally in a long-term care facility

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree of nursing
• Registered Nurses at Schuyler Ridge must possess a passion for caring for patients and demonstrate a respectful, caring, professional demeanor
• The RN Supervisor must be able to lead and supervise a team of different backgrounds
• The RN Supervisor must have excellent time management and organizational skills
• The RN Supervisor must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written and possess strong critical thinking skills to problem solve

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $55.68 per hour
