Anticipated Supervisor of Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) and District Support
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required. Master’s Degree in Education Preferred.
- PA Teaching Certificate Required in one of the following areas:
- Supervisor of Curriculum & Instruction
- Elementary Principal
- Secondary Principal
- PA Teaching Certificate Preferred in the following area:
- Instructional Technology
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide professional development in the areas of STEM and Instructional technology.
- Attend statewide meetings as scheduled.
- Coordinate MakerSpace activities and workshops
Responsibilities:
- Organize, schedule and coordinate summer camps.
- Facilitate STEM Collaborative activities including but not limited to the STEM Competition and STEM Design Challenge.
- Provide training to teachers in the use of current technology to meet curriculum goals.
- Participate in the development of activities that help integrate technology into various curriculum areas at the local and state level.
- Supervise the following special programs for participating school districts: Schuylkill Academic League/Academic Competition, and Schuylkill County Youth Conference/Delin Awards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of technology professional development.
- Provide support to districts in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
- Serve as district support consultant for assigned member schools.
- Provide training in Co-Teaching Techniques.
- Serve as IU29 Data Quality Network Point of Contact.
- All other duties as discussed with and assigned by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

Method of Evaluation:
- Performance of the job will be evaluated annually by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction in accordance with provisions of the Board’s Policy on evaluation of personnel.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Terms of Employment:
- Employment shall be twelve [12] months per year. Salary and benefits will be established by the Board of Directors.

Salary : $62,000 - $70,000
