We are hiring a Supervisor of Project and Reliability Engineering in our Pasadena, TX and Deer Park, TX Asian food plants! In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing large-scale capital projects and enhancing equipment reliability at our manufacturing site. You will guide projects from conceptual development through to execution and commissioning, ensuring they align with the business’s annual capital plan. In this role, you will also focus on developing and implementing strategies to improve asset availability and performance, while providing leadership and support to your team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering projects, ensuring project design, budgets, schedules, justifications and eventual execution are followed and completed, with collaboration from our corporate engineering team.
• Contribute to the development of capital requests and cash-flow forecasts, and then assist in identifying and managing these capital expenses, selecting equipment, and overseeing project timelines.
• Oversee the creation and improvement of manufacturing instructions, preventative maintenance plans, and reliability standards.
• Support the implementation of PDM and RCM methodologies, including SAP PM Module, Planning & Scheduling, Red Zone, and Wonderware MES Systems.
• Promote and support the development of team members and direct reports, ensuring they are equipped to handle their responsibilities effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in supervising engineering projects and supporting multi-unit operations projects with capital spends up to $1 million.
• Strong leadership abilities, with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to directly involve hourly operators and mechanics in the project process.
• Proficiency with CAD systems and a thorough understanding of engineering design, construction, and installation standards. Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.
  
  

The base salary range for this position is $81,750 - $1136,250 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
