What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tractor-Trailer Driver - Hiring Immediately position at Schwartz Brothers Restaurants?
Description :
Responsible for delivery baked goods to Schwartz Brothers Bakery customers in a safe and timely manner, while following Company procedures in compliance with State and Local driving laws.
Local delivery of bakery products to pre-determined customers in a safe and timely manner
Load and unload pallet jack and / or hand truck
Pick up / return product according to company return policy
Ensuring the correct paperwork has been completed
Interact with Schwartz Brothers Bakery customers in a professional manner
Maintain effective communication regarding customer problems and requests
Operate company vehicle in accordance with state and federal rules and DOT regulations
Execute all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as GMP's and HACCP's rules and guidelines
Perform other duties assigned as needed
Requirements :
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid Washington State Driver's License and clean driving record
Pass a required drug test
Pass the required background check(s)
High school diploma or general education degree preferred
At least two (2) years of personal driving experience
Flexible work schedule ability to work nights and weekends
Customer service experience a plus
Food production industry, baking or wholesale production knowledge
Ability to effectively read, speak and communicate in English
Strong organizational skills
Able to work alone and in a team environment
Able to multi-task
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
