The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance to the plant and the equipment. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for the efficient use of all persons and resources under his or her supervision.

Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for coordinating and implementing the overall maintenance program. This includes preventative maintenance program, efficient downtime repairs, and machine improvements.
- Supervise and direct the maintenance crew to perform maintenance repair projects in mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, welding, and electrical.
- Supervise and direct the Parts Manager/MP2 Coordinator with all purchases, MP2, and work orders.
- Participate in daily production meetings to insure all safety and production issues are properly addressed. Provide progress reports on improvements and work order status.
- Manage and direct the assignment of maintenance persons to specific jobs which are appropriate to their skill level.
- Interpret and work with specifications and drawings to ensure that maintenance projects are completed timely and efficiently to minimize waste and downtime.
- Evaluate the quality of maintenance work performed. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement procedures for suck improvements.
- Communicate with all management and supervisor to determine the priority of projects and maintenance work to be performed.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Plays a major role in identifying, justifying, planning and completing major capital projects.
- Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including federal and/or state required environmental systems, OSHA Safety and Health rules, fire and electrical safety codes and manuals and standard operating procedures.
- Perform maintenance function and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime when necessary.
- Provide technical assistance to the Production Department.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of technical school education and /or experience.
- Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience; overall maintenance functions.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and instruction books.
- Knowledge of computer and automated machines.
- Strong maintenance, plumbing, electrical background (manufacturing preferred) in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic with emphasis on safety.
- Ability to speak, hear, see, walk, stand, climb, twist, bend, grasp, reach, pull, stoop, lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
