ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
- Perform maintenance and electrical function and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime by completing regular PM’s.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical problems of plant machinery.
- Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve world-class results; ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirements.
- Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned.
- Work within specifications and drawings, responsible for ensuring completion, and minimizing waste within set dates & times.
- Other corrective and preventive maintenance duties to be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable with time management skills.
- Experience with Electrical and Mechanical Systems is a plus, computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software & network configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, working knowledge of PLC’s and motors.
- Knowledge of computer and automated machines.
- Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written.
- Strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety.
