Job Title : Warehouse Associate

Salary Range : $17.00 per hour

Type : Part-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Location : New Mexico | Distribution Center

Position Objective

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient fulfillment of customer orders, maintaining inventory, and upholding high standards of quality and safety. Your contributions will be integral to our fast-paced and compliant workspace, offering opportunities to work with advanced technology and contribute to our growing operation.

Essential Functions

Order Fulfillment (40%)

Accurate Packaging : Precisely fill, box, and label products to meet daily packaging targets following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and key performance indicator (KPI) targets.
Quality Control : Thoroughly inspect outbound products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Inventory Movement : Safely operate a pallet jack to transport products between racking locations and around the warehouse.
QR Sticker Application : Apply QR stickers to outbound products for efficient tracking.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, maintaining a hazard-free work environment.

Inventory Management (30%)

Efficient Receiving : Receive and organize incoming products into their designated locations with a keen eye for detail.

System Utilization : Utilize the Sage warehouse management system to maintain accurate inventory records.

Maintenance and Cleaning : Execute routine equipment cleaning and maintenance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure equipment reliability.

Cycle Counting : Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and promptly address discrepancies.

Warehouse Maintenance (30%)

Workstation Organization : Maintain a clean and organized workstation to meet 5S standards set by the Manager, ensuring an efficient and orderly workspace.

Janitorial Tasks : Perform daily janitorial tasks, including sweeping, cleaning, mopping, taking out the trash, and washing fixtures to maintain a clean and inviting work environment.

Safety Vigilance : Ensure the work area remains clean and free of safety hazards, promoting a safe and comfortable workspace for all team members.

Commitment to 5S : Uphold the highest standards of the 5S methodology, contributing to a culture of organization and efficiency.

Please note that the percentage allocations are a general estimate and may vary based on business needs and priorities.

Requirements

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Possess strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and multitasking skills.

Self-starter with a positive and professional attitude.

A Plus, but Not Required

Knowledge of cannabis products.

Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS or ERP).

Previous experience operating a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.

Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel)

The position is based at our Off Premise Storage Facility.

Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, stooping, and climbing ladders for 8-10 hours a day.
