Job Summary : Full-Time MohsHistotechnician at our Plymouth office. They are responsible for preparing tissue specimens for pathological examination; helping maintain laboratory equipment; training in the use of new laboratory equipment; performing routine histology procedures; preparing solutions required for any histological examination; plus, all related job duties as assigned. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution or 60 semester hours with a combination of 12 semester hours in biology and chemistry (must include both) from a regionally accredited college or university. Qualified to work in a highly complexity laboratory as mandated in the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA '88).
Schedule : F ull time, 30 hours. Monday through Friday within the operating hours of 7 : 00 AM- 4 : 00 PM rotating Saturdays. Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.
