Schwing Bioset, a full-service chassis modifier for the large truck market located in North Branch is seeking a full-time experienced Painters. We paint everything from small parts, pipeline, automotive, to heavy equipment with many different paint types and processes.
Position Overview
We are looking to hire experienced Painters for our company for 1st shift, Monday-Thursday (4 10/hr days) or Tuesday-Friday (4 10/hr days) to report to a Nace Certified Paint Specialist.
Responsibilities and Duties including but not limited to the following:
- Painting, priming, prepping (masking, sanding, bodywork, cleaning shop, pressure washing, setting up parts for paint).
- Apply coatings through conventional, airless spray systems.
- Apply paint with brush and roll.
- Operate various types of equipment such as blast pots and spray guns.
- Knowledge of various painting methods and applications.
- Applicant must be versed in many different types of paint.
- Maintenance of paint equipment
- Forklift operation
- Ability to read and understand work orders and blueprints
- Miscellaneous duties as necessary
Position Requirements:
- Please detail your various paint experience for consideration.
- At least one year of current paint experience.
- Computer literate, ability to stand/walk 90% of work shift, ability to lift up to 75 lbs. when required, ability to function in adverse climate conditions (heat, cold).
- Must be able to read blueprints or drawings
- Ability to stand/walk on concrete surface 90% of work shift in adverse climate conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. as necessary.
- Bending and stooping required approximately 50% of work day.
- Must wear proper protective gear including steel tip boots, metatarsals recommended, proper safety glasses or welding shield depending on duty performed.
