Aircraft Component Technician
The Aircraft Component Technician assists aircraft maintenance personnel in the performance of aviation maintenance activities.
Essential Functions:
- Reads and interprets maintenance manuals and required technical data to remove clean, process, and repair aircraft components
- Performs miscellaneous duties to support aircraft maintenance personnel performing maintenance tasks
- Must have a mechanical aptitude; mechanical experience is preferred
- Must have the ability to properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment
- Ability to comply with safety rules and procedures. Use protective equipment as required and be alert for unsafe conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- This is an entry level position which requires extensive on the job training
Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent required
