Job Description
Reporting to the Proposals Manager, the Pricing Lead is responsible for: Analyzing requirements, assisting Capture and Estimators with pricing proposals, leading a pricing team, and reviewing proposal pricing. This position is a working lead who will be required to personally price proposals while also leading their Proposal Specialist(s) and managing the workload of the team.
Essential Functions:
Technical
Lead/coordinate proposal review meetings
Oversees the development, pricing/estimating and preparation of Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) task orders and stand-alone efforts as well as Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) proposals. Work with specialized software, spreadsheets, basis of estimates, bills of materials, assumptions, and travel to price out a proposal based on Government requirements in accordance with the Statement of Work.

Technical
- Analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from government and commercial customers
- Develop proposal outlines that address all RFP requirements
- Read, comprehend and explain RFPs and prepare clarifying questions related to pricing
- Establish and maintain proposal development schedules
- Responsible for the pricing response of Firm Fixed Price, T&M, and CPFF proposals including, monitoring for accuracy and compliance with requirements
- Confirm adherence to corporate policies and procedures with regards to cost proposal preparation, review, submission
- Responsible for non-competitive proposals from cradle to grave.
- Facilitate communication between proposal team members, functional leads and program managers for
Lead/coordinate proposal review meetings
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed to develop responsive, compelling and competitive proposals
- Ensure all cost proposals are reviewed IAW company quality procedures prior to submission to the government
- Lead, mentor and train your team of Proposal Specialists (1-2 direct reports) while managing workflow between your proposals and those of your team
- Provide guidance and leadership to functional areas during the proposal process
- Review and critique Proposal Specialists and proposal output
- Assist the Director of Proposals in increasing win probability.
- Ensure compliance with requirements before submission.

Requirements
· Education: Bachelor's in business administration, Finance, Economics preferred. · Experience: Minimum of two years government proposal preparation or defense industry and/or government contracts preferred. Requires clear and concise communication skills; advanced knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required; experience with ProPricer preferred.
