What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Distribution Technician - PA position at Science Care, Inc?
Assistant Distribution Technician personnel will participate as productive team members to execute Science Care policies, procedures, and job duties. Documentation of these job activities will be recorded legibly and accurately. Additionally, assistant technician personnel will perform all assigned order management, donor management, tissue management, facility, distribution, and quality program activities.
Required Elements:
- Frequent and heavy lifting is required.
- Support the mission, vision, and principles of Science Care.
- Function as a contributing member of the lab and distribution team.
- Hold themselves accountable for achieving personal and departmental standards and goals.
- Utilize safe lab practices and maintain a clean working environment and facility standards.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures while performing job functions.
- Complete controlled documentation accurately and timely.
- Assist with planning driver activities; driver dispatching.
- Ability to perform all required or assigned daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
- Solid planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to independently perform all distribution activities; i.e. driver duties, packing and shipping, disposition of human remains, ashes, receiving donors, shipments, and supplies.
- Coordination of all tissue activities both interior and exterior, including tissue thawing.
- Inventory maintenance and working knowledge of inventory systems.
- Ability to maintain and process distribution paperwork.
- Availability for before/after hours and weekend distribution duties.
- Additional tasks to include driver duties, laboratory duties, and event duties as needed.

Experience and Requirements:
- 1 years of relevant work experience
- Individual who is self-motivated, professional; detail oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to function successfully in a team environment.
- Commitment to superior quality and professional service.
- Ability to professionally manage confidential information.
- Knowledge of pertinent DOT and IATA standards.
- Clean driving record
