Position Summary:
Science Care is currently looking for a Community Awareness Specialist. The Community Awareness Specialist will provide support for all processes related to donor awareness, growth, registration, HOPE Program, lead list creation, lead list follow-up, mail and collateral fulfillment, and consumer and trade education. The Community Awareness Specialist will assist in ensuring proper execution of the community awareness processes and donor generation within all assigned areas.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Meet goals for outreach efforts and a responsibility for increasing donor rate organically.
- These efforts are to include but not limited to calls, emails, in-service meetings, and material drops to appropriate trade professionals.
- Meet goals regarding saturation and increased awareness in the trade community.
- These goals will include obtaining new trade contacts and accounts, while also focusing on retention of current referring trade contacts and accounts.
Experience and Requirements
- BA/BS, or combination of education and 2 years of relevant work experience, preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately through various forms of technology.
- Individual who is self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work, or be on call, during off hours and the weekend, as needed.
- Basic computer skills with MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, MS Outlook
- Minimal travel or market visits in local markets, as needed
