The Science Guys of Baltimore are looking for our Science Entertainer for Spring and Summer 2025! This person will join our team and inspire the next generation of young minds.
Role Overview:
As an Educational Science Entertainer, you will captivate audiences of all ages with engaging and interactive science demonstrations. Your role will involve traveling to various locations around greater Maryland, bringing science to life through entertaining performances that combine education with excitement.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and perform entertaining science demonstrations that educate and inspire audiences.
- Travel to schools, libraries, and other venues to deliver engaging presentations.
- Tailor presentations to suit different age groups and learning styles.
- Maintain a fun and energetic atmosphere during performances to keep audiences engaged.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on new scientific discoveries and educational techniques to add engaging conversation to your shows!
Qualifications:
- Passion for science and education.
- Creativity and a fun-loving attitude.
- Enjoyment of travel and flexibility with scheduling.
- Experience in improv, acting, or performing is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and connect with audiences of all ages.

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
