Sciens Building Solutions seeks a Field Superintendent who will lead an installation team to deliver projects on schedule and on budget. Working mostly in the field, the Field Superintendent will ensure projects are installed in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations plus abide by the quality standards of Sciens. Safety is a top priority at Sciens, and this position will be responsible to ensure all safety standards and work practices are met. The Field Superintendent will be responsible for mentoring field employees.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)

The Field Superintendent will be responsible for mentoring field employees.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
- Ensure projects are installed in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
- Work directly with customers to achieve a high level of satisfaction.
- Identify potential change orders and communicate to the Project Manager for assessment and processing.
- Ensure compliance of all assigned employees to Sciens safety standards.
- Provide supervision, mentoring and development of team members.
- Ensure all documentation and reports are completed on time and accurately.
- Review and participate, as necessary, in all system testing to ensure readiness for final inspections and acceptance.
- Make recommendations on efficiency improvements associated with project installations.
- 2-5 years of experience in a superintendent supervisory role within the commercial fire detection/fire suppression industry.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
- Proficient in current, applicable codes related to installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills; proficient at Microsoft Office.
- Be physically fit to perform the demanding work of the trade, including frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds, maximum occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; able to work from heights and climb ladders; standing and walking for most of the workday.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and able to obtain OSHA 10 certifications.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and with a sense of urgency.
- Able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
