SARA is looking for a talented, motivated, and experienced

Signal Processing Engineer

to support activities out of our Cypress, CA location. The candidate will have the opportunity work alongside other talented engineers, physicists, and technicians on long-standing programs and new programs supporting our customers.

Core Responsibilities : Create innovative optical and acoustic signal processing algorithmsAnalyze test data to assess algorithm performance and drive improvementsSupport software teams’ implementation of the algorithmsExcellent communication skills that enable you to explain complex signaling systemsOther duties as required and needed for the program

Requirements : At least 1 year processing video or optical signalsMS Degree in signal processing or similar relevant education5 years creating innovative signal processing algorithmsExperience using MatlabAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance if requiredUS Citizenship requiredMay require light physical effort, involving standing, sitting and use of hands while performing duties, carrying or lifting up to 10 poundsWorking environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated

Salary Range : $136,000 – $178,000 SARA, Inc. considers a range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience, location, and qualifications, and established government contract wages.
