CNC Machinist Mill Setup/Operator

We are searching for a CNC Machinist Mill Setup/Operator for fabrication of small to medium precision parts. Our facilities are air conditioned and use modern fully tooled equipment.

Job responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC lathe and milling machines.
• Review drawings, instructions, prints or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
• Select appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
• Setup machine for first part.
• Take accurate measurements during the cutting and shaping process.
• Sand parts in to achieve very tight tolerances and surface finish.
• Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
• Maintain inventory of completed products.
• Check output for quality assurance and document or discard defects.
• Identify need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Must maintain a safe and clean workstation.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

To be Considered, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be able to read and understand G-code
• Minimum 5 years experience with CNC Mills
• Preferred experience with CNC Mill: 4 axis- Hurco VMX42i
• Preferred experience with programming using GibbsCam
