JOB SUMMARY
Join our team at Scientific Protein Laboratories (SPL), a world leader in biosourced pharmaceuticals, located just outside of Madison, Wisconsin in Waunakee! SPL is an innovative biopharmaceutical leader with unique products and services supporting the pharmaceutical industry globally. For over 40 years, SPL specializes in the development and cGMP compliant manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). SPL has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Sr Coordinator HR.
The Sr Coordinator HR will provide high level comprehensive administrative support in various aspects of the organization including recruitment and onboarding, benefits administration, maintaining the employee life cycle, performance management, employee appreciation, employee recognition, and leave management programs. Through collaboration amongst the human resources team, this position is an integral part of providing high level support to the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the employee life cycle through onboarding, processing internal employee changes, and terminations through the HRIS system (Paycom)
- Create and maintain detailed reports supporting company and department initiatives
- Analyze, recommend and develop HR administrative and procedural processes to improve efficiency
- Partner with HR team in recruitment activities with management of job posts, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, maintaining ongoing communications amongst candidates and hiring managers, arranging pre-employment screenings, and conducting new hire orientation
- Answer routine benefit questions, process qualifying events, assist with annual open enrollment
- Primary contact for employee leave management process
- Respond to unemployment requests
- Collaborate with HR team to implement policies and procedures
- Respond to employee inquiries, liaison for employee relations
- Acts as back up to Human Resources team as needed
- Maintain a high level of employee and customer confidentiality and compliance with Federal, State and Local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Position will be filled up to the Senior level and determined at discretion of the hiring manager.
Experience: 5 plus years’ experience required
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, Associate Degree or above in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
