Are you a seasoned maintenance technician with extensive expertise in automation and controls? My client is seeking an Automation/Controls Maintenance Technician to provide technical excellence and problem-solving skills to support complex machinery and equipment. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot PLCs, controls, robotics, and more to keep production lines running at peak performance while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, robotics, HVAC units, and other electrical and electromechanical systems.
- Lead initiatives to enhance line performance and overall efficiencies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities and recommend process improvements.
- Support emergency response efforts to minimize downtime and capacity loss.
- High School diploma or GED required; additional technical training (associate degree, trade school, or military background) preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in maintenance, controls programming, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with ISO13485, Lean Manufacturing, and familiarity with FDA/GMP environments is a plus.
