Fermentation Engineer

Location: Osage, Iowa (1 day per week remote)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Tracking fermentation batch data to drive continuous improvement.
• Leading lean manufacturing projects to enhance process efficiency.
• Developing and maintaining SOPs, training manuals, and master batch records.
• Troubleshooting, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.
• Providing technical support and training to production teams.
  
  

About You

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related field (MS/PhD preferred).
• Experience with industrial-scale microbial fermentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for process optimization.
• Six Sigma experience and familiarity with process control/automation are a plus.
