This is a full-time direct hire position with a world class organization. An Installation Engineer is responsible for start-up, commissioning, preventative maintenance & training of company equipment/products in North America. Candidates must demonstrate a strong technical aptitude, a high level of professionalism, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities
- Installation of company equipment at client location
- Discuss with the project manager in charge the details of the project during the pre-installation Kick off Meeting
- Collect all the documentation necessary to perform the installation and commissioning:
- Submittals drawings
- Product specifications
- Project schedule, T&C
- When requested, perform site surveys to verify and ascertain accurate site information required to execute the project.
- Communicate with the project manager any unplanned costs through the life of the project.
- Ability to research and employ time efficient work installation practices without sacrificing quality.
- Available to travel 75% of your time
- Basic working mechanical and electric knowledge
- 1-3 years’ experience assembling capital equipment
- 5 – 10 years in Project Management work experience a plus
- Understand the technical requirements of the products, technical schematics & user manuals
- Ability to listen and understand stakeholders/client needs, then propose the most adapted solutions
- Ability to use CAD viewer software
- Experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit
