- Managing product development from concept to commercialization using stage gate methodology.
- Leading product optimization, risk management, and commercialization efforts in collaboration with Marketing and Operations.
- Identifying and implementing novel ingredients, process technologies, and co-manufacturers.
- Ensuring compliance with macronutrient, calorie, and sensory profiles while optimizing cost and quality.
- Managing a team of product developers, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.
- 6 years of protein bar product development experience (Slab Bars, Extruded Bars, Baked Bars).
- 4 years of leadership experience, successfully managing and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of ingredient sourcing, regulatory compliance, and sensory evaluation.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel 30-40% as needed.
