- Leading the surgical assessment and OCS instrumentation procedure for donor livers.
- Training and mentoring the OCS surgical retrieval team, including proctoring junior surgeons.
- Communicating with transplant program surgeons and clinical staff to optimize donor organ decisions.
- Contributing to protocol development for surgical retrieval, donor organ management, and assessment.
- MD degree
- 5 years of experience in deceased abdominal donor organ procurement and assessments.
- Experienced as the primary liver surgeon for at least 2 years.
- ASTS fellowship-trained or equivalent transplant experience.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and independent problem-solving skills.
