Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Deburrer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for removing burrs and sharp edges from metal parts, ensuring that all components meet quality standards and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with various tools, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties
- Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices to inspect parts for accuracy.
- Remove burrs and sharp edges from metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Fabricate parts as needed while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications and requirements for each job.
- Collaborate with machinists and other team members to ensure seamless production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus; experience in welding or fabricating components is desirable.
- Experience operating lathes or similar machinery is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.84 - $21.76 per hour
