Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the end-to-end design, implementation, and operational enablement of a data protection program. This program will encompass data sensitivity classification, data discovery, data labeling, and data loss prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data protection program, including data sensitivity classification, data discovery, data labeling, and data loss prevention.
- Translate program strategy into actionable designs and define clear processes and workflows.
- Architect, implement, and operationalize Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Protection tools, with a strong preference for experience with Microsoft Purview.
- Oversee both the process and tooling aspects of the data protection program, ensuring seamless transition to a steady-state operation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and operationalizing data protection programs.
- Hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Protection tools, specifically Microsoft Purview.
- Strong ability to translate strategic program requirements into detailed processes and workflows.
- Experience in managing data protection programs through to operational steady-state.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in data protection and security (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CISSP) are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
