RESPONSIBILITIES The IT Program Manager should have extensive expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- VEEVA CRM and VEEVA CRM Vault, particularly within Healthcare Solutions
- Salesforce CRM, with a focus on Healthcare Solutions
Additionally, they should possess broad knowledge in:
- Integration solutions
- Global Data Warehouse solutions
- Master Data Management (MDM) solutions
Preferred experience includes:
- IQVIA software, designed to drive innovation in healthcare, enhance patient outcomes, and create smarter healthcare solutions worldwide.
- Accurytics software, specializing in advanced analytics for the healthcare sector, helping organizations leverage data for meaningful insights and competitive advantages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage multiple interrelated IT projects, ensuring successful completion within the constraints of human and financial resources and shifting priorities.
- Collaborate with Strategic Business and IT management to establish project goals and business cases.
- Evaluate the impact of scope changes, issues, and risks on projects, working with division or senior/executive management and sponsors to gain agreement on resolutions.
- Monitor performance to ensure projects are progressing according to the original plan and budget.
- Lead project teams in developing and executing a program plan, securing authorized resources, and ensuring all activities are completed. Collect lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsors and stakeholders.
- Communicate project progress through reports that provide timely and accurate status updates and decision support information to Project Team, Division, Cross Division, and Executive management. Make recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues.
- Coordinate resources to address program and business needs through proactive priority management with business leaders.
- Lead workshops to gather requirements and create visual process flows, clearly articulating proposed solutions to the project team.
- Participate in pre-program (Phase 0) activities and present demos/proposals to clients.
- Conduct project meetings related to the program.
- Act as an escalation point for risks and issues, working with the run team and division management to close critical defects on the application.
- Serve as the liaison between technical and functional teams to ensure successful implementations.
- Willing and able to travel domestically approximately 10% of the time for project needs.
- Manage, motivate, and mentor cross-functional and enterprise project teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures, protecting client information assets, helping business and applications comply with internal audit guidelines, and continuously improving IT controls that benefit both the client and local business affiliates.
- Manage Programs/projects at the division or enterprise level.
- Make strategic decisions that impact system quality at a division or site level.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 6-8 years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development, deployment, or operations, with a minimum of 5 years managing project delivery.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solution designs.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, with a workload consisting of small, medium, and large implementation projects.
