Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Area Director – Community Engagement & Fundraising for a mission-driven national nonprofit partner focused on mental health and community empowerment. This full-time position is remote but requires residence in Colorado, ideally near the Denver metro area, with local travel for events and community engagement.

The Area Director will guide local program delivery, build strong relationships with community leaders, and lead inclusive fundraising initiatives to increase visibility and support. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning and implementation of local fundraising campaigns, community walks, and special events
- Build and strengthen relationships with volunteers, partners, and community stakeholders
- Guide local programming efforts, including awareness initiatives and educational outreach
- Support the development and engagement of an active regional board and committees
- Develop and manage budgets and strategic plans aligned with local and national goals
- Elevate public awareness through media engagement and storytelling
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising, especially in community-based or peer-to-peer initiatives
- Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills
- Ability to engage and train volunteers with care and inclusivity
- Demonstrated skill in relationship-building with diverse community stakeholders
- Comfort using general office technology and tools such as Microsoft Office
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This full-time role offers an annual salary range of $70,000 to $75,000. The organization provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes a generous paid time off plan (22 days in the first year, plus 5 additional days in the second year), 11 paid holidays, a Company-Sponsored Medical Employee Reimbursement Plan (MERP), and a 10% employer retirement contribution after two years of employment.
