Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Director of Human Resources for our client, a dynamic and growing organization. This exciting role leads HR strategy and supports organizational growth in a fast-paced environment. The Director of HR will play a key role in shaping the companyâ?™s culture and workforce, driving initiatives that foster employee engagement and organizational success. This full-time, onsite position based in Central Oregon offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while working with a talented team.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Oversee all HR functions, aligning strategies with organizational goals and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Manage HR systems, including payroll, benefits, and applicant tracking, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and processes to streamline operations and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and negotiate vendor contracts to optimize offerings.
  • Address employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Oversee the HR department budget, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Lead and mentor HR staff, providing coaching and performance management to ensure compliance and professional growth.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, ensuring the organization remains competitive and compliant.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all HR operations and ensure the department meets privacy standards.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 5 years of leadership experience in Human Resources.
  • Bachelorâ?™s degree in human resources, organizational psychology, business management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Skilled in MS Office and HR technology platforms.
  • Experience with employee benefits, compensation, and leave management.
  • Knowledgeable in HR best practices and applicable employment laws.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Collaborative, positive attitude with the ability to work across teams.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM) preferred.
  • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    This wonderful opportunity offers the ability to make a significant impact by leading human resources for an established organization that fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment. In addition to a competitive base salary of $145,000 - $185,000 (DOE), this incredible role provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k); paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; sick time; paid vacation; annual paid holidays; annual compensation reviews and bonuses; and many other perks!
