Scion Staffinghas been engaged to conduct a search for an Interim Chief Financial Officer (Manufacturing) on behalf of our esteemed client, a dynamic manufacturing company. This is aninterim,full-time, remote position in Wisconsin with 25% travel to support manufacturing locations.
The Interim CFO will lead the finance function, working closely with the CEO to manage resources and drive shareholder value creation. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a high-execution mindset, proactive problem-solving skills, and a team-player approach. They will develop scalable financial systems, integrate multiple entities, and optimize cash flow management through a period of lower sales. This role requires strong leadership, manufacturing industry experience, and multi-site oversight capabilities.

- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement scalable finance systems and processes across multiple locations.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability during market fluctuations.
- Lead financial reporting for the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
- Strengthen relationships with lenders, auditors, and key stakeholders.
- Assess and optimize financial contracts, risk management, and compliance.
- Provide hands-on support and leadership to finance teams across various sites.
- Active CPA certification required.
- Proven experience leading financial operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in multi-site oversight, financial integration, and private equity.
- Hands-on, proactive, and willing to assist other sites as needed.
- Strong cash flow management skills, particularly in navigating economic downturns.
- Leadership experience in building and mentoring finance teams.
- Background in cost accounting and financial oversight within contract manufacturing.
- Audit experience is a plus.
