Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a Logistics Coordinator  on behalf of our client, an established manufacturing company. This is full-time, contract position based on-site at the Columbus, OH location.
Schedule :
Monday â?? Friday, 7 am â?? 4 pm EST
Responsibilities
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments, including generating bill of ladings, packing lists, labels, and any special customer requirements (e.g., Certificate of Analyses, ASNâ?™s, seal shipments).
- Schedule carrier pickups through online portals, phone, and email, ensuring timely and accurate shipment scheduling.
- Physically check shipments to verify that paperwork matches freight, ensuring all shipments are accurate and complete.
- Attach packing lists to shipments and assist drivers in locating freight.
- Allocate inventory by Lot Number, ensuring that the correct lot is shipped and that the oldest lot numbers are prioritized.
- Examine shipments for accuracy against picklists and resolve any discrepancies to ensure consistency with actual freight
- Process customer orders and invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Answer phones and perform general filing to maintain organization within the department.
- Provide high-quality service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications
Compensation
This position offers an hourly rate of $24, along with a monthly technology stipend. Eligible employees working an average of 30 or more hours per week can access benefits including medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits. A retirement plan is also available.
