RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Refine and enhance the organizations business model to drive long-term sustainability.
- Develop a strategic financial vision aligned with the mission and stakeholder value.
- Provide financial leadership to support strategic and operational goals.
- Optimize resource allocation to drive meaningful change and efficiency.
- Identify and implement growth strategies to expand revenue and impact.
- Lead acquisition and expansion initiatives in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Present clear, transparent financial reports to inform decision-making and advocate for change.
- Assess the financial implications of key decisions, policies, and strategies.
- Recommend initiatives to enhance financial performance and capitalize on opportunities.
- Translate strategic plans into actionable financial frameworks.
- Establish departmental policies, structure, and leadership for the team.
- Implement efficient budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and analysis of trends and forecasts.
- Oversee investment strategies, accounting, banking, and lender relationships.
- 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including 5 years in senior financial leadership.
- Strong commitment to the organizations mission and values.
- Bachelors degree required; CPA and/or Masters preferred.
- Expertise in modernizing finance and accounting functions to drive organizational change.
- Skilled in developing reporting systems to track progress and optimize outcomes.
- Strong ability to set expectations, define milestones, and ensure accountability.
- Experienced in mentoring and fostering professional growth within teams.
- Proficient in evaluating and improving financial and operational productivity.
- Deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial reporting software.
- Strong financial planning, analysis, and critical thinking skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Proven expertise in Fund Accounting, including compliance, reporting, and transaction management.
