Certified Sterile Processing Technician

CMH is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Tech

The Certified Sterile Processing Tech works under the general supervision of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Supervisor, performs a variety of duties within the Surgical Services Department to include but not limited to receiving, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing of surgical instruments, deliver processed instrumentations to external units within the hospital and working rotational weekends pulling SPD call technicians duties.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to four (4) years of high school
• Successful completion SPD Technician course preferred
• Certification not required but must obtain within one (1) year of hire date.
