The Infection Control Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety within our hospitals.
This position oversees the implementation of an effective hospital-wide infection control program, while also managing employee health initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced nurse with a strong background in infection control and employee health to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Consult with physicians, managers, and staff on the management of infectious and/or immune-suppressed patients.
* Develop and implement an effective hospital-wide infection control program in accordance with Centers for Disease Control (CDC), JCAHO, and other regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in nursing or healthcare-related field.
* Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements.
* Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in medical-surgical or critical care nursing.
* Experience in Infection Control with basic knowledge of epidemiology and principles of infection prevention preferred.
