Serve as a patient observer on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require any degree of observation in order to maximize patient safety. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficiency of the nursing unit.QualificationsExperience
- 1.5 Years of Mental / Behavioral Health ExperienceEducation
- High school diploma or equivalent X Required
- Two (2) years of collegiate coursework to include general psychology, interpersonal communication, abnormal psychology, and / or human growth and development X PreferredRequired Skills
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Licenses / Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) X Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
- Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire
