Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to work in our Same Day Surgery department. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to implement the medical plan of care for patients
- Provide patient care in accordance with hospital and nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and outcomes
- Candidates must be able to take call for surgery and meet other job requirements
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently registered to practice in the State of Alabama
- A minimum of one (1) year of hospital staff nurse experience is preferred
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required or must obtained within 30 days (BLS), 60 days (ACLS), 90 days (PALS) of employment
- CNOR certification preferred
