Critical Care Nurse Role
This position provides quality patient care to critically ill patients, through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. The nurse serves as a patient advocate at all times, supervising the nursing care provided to each patient by other caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized care plans for assigned patients
- Administer medications safely and effectively
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
- Serve as a resource for other nursing staff
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program and a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse are required. BCLS certification and ACLS required. A minimum of one year of training and experience in Critical Care is also necessary.
