We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Care team at Vaughn Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
About the Position
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with medical teams to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans. You will also communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure seamless transitions in care.
Responsibilities
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participate in discharge planning process.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
• Possess a current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• Hold BCLS certification. ACLS is preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
