Job Responsibilities:
- Provides quality patient care to critically ill patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Serves as a patient advocate at all times, ensuring that patients' needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Supervises the nursing care provided to each patient by other caregivers, directing and evaluating their work to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develops and implements individualized care plans for assigned patients, coordinating with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
- Recognizes and responds appropriately to patient changes in condition, taking emergency action as necessary to ensure patient safety.
Education and Experience:
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse
- BCLS certification and ACLS required
- Minimum one year training and experience in Critical Care
