Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of hospital staff to ensure quality care and compliance with policies and mandated regulations.
- Providing professional guidance for nursing personnel, managing disciplinary issues, preparing administrative reports, reviewing staffing and budgetary needs, and integrating Nursing Services functions with other hospital departments.
- Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating designated nursing staff; assigning duties and coordinating nursing services.
- Participating in developing nursing protocols and procedures.
- Offering continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Assessing patient needs; participating in providing nursing care; ensuring services are carried out and documented appropriately.
- Maintaining patient healthcare records.
- Promoting adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues.
